Engine Cylinder Thermometer Tester manufactured in Chicago, Illinois for the U.S. Navy Bureau of Aeronautics.This specialized aviation test instrument was designed for testing and checking aircraft engine-cylinder thermometers, including copper-constantan, chromel-alumel and iron-constantan thermocouple systems.The tester is housed in its original wooden carrying case and features the original analog meter, adjustment controls, terminals and temperature scale.
