New Hall became the first Pottery to produce a recognisable and commercially viable porcelain body in Staffordshire, in the 1780s. Hall is always popular with collectors.
Thispedestal server measures11 3/4'' W x 7 3/4'' deep x 6'' H. Unmarked (The early porcelains do NOT carry a factory mark).c.1815-20, bone china body, decorated with bluelavender blue relief-mouldedborder and with white flowers, the centre with bat-printed English rustic designs, coloured by hand, and gilded rims and handles
Condition: hairline crack to the base (see the last picture), rubs and stains to the base;otherwiseno crack, repair or chip.
