Here is the early Hitachi TH-621 six transistor AM radio from 1958.
Described in some reviews as Hitachi\'s first shirt pocket transistor radio, it still looks great and best of all, it works!
Powers by a standard 9V battery (not included), it brings in local AM stations with good volume and tone. Reception is sensitive to how the radio is turned. The white case looks great from the front and it is in good overall condition though there is a small chip and crack on the top near the earphone jack. The metal button on the dial has some wear. The back of the case has what appears to be some dried residue. The interior is very clean and the original interior labeling is still in place.
The Hitachi TH-621 radio will be safely packed and quickly sent by US Priority mail. I charge only the expected shipping cost with insurance. I\'ll refund an overcharge which was significantly higher than the actual shipping cost.
