Very rare model - "Ruberless" Cory Vacuum Pot Coffee Brewer - Originally patented in 1942 -Features the rare "rubberless" gasket (glass on glass) due to rubber being diverted for the war effort in WWII. The lower glass decanter and upper brew globe feature decorative Platinum-tone rings. This is a COMPLETE set, including everything needed to brew vacuum pot coffee - Including the Two-Heat (Hi-Low) stove/burner and glass filter rod.

Overall, this set is in Excellent condition, exhibiting typical minor wear and marring and no breaks or cracks in the glass - As shown in photos, there are two small cracks in the ceramic heating element on the burner -Notably, the lid to the decanter (part #DGC) exhibits damage to the attachment/pivot holes where it connects to the handle; it hooks on at some angles but is worn on the underside making it easily slip on and off (please review photos) with some JB weld and skills I imagine this could possibly be mended. Another thing of note;the power cord to the electric stove is a Leviton brand and is not the original cord,that said, its power rating is plenty sufficient for the stove and is the same dimension and size of the original. Everything has been tested and works as designed.

This is an estate sale find; a nice husband and wife couple selling his late grandmother's items - She was born in 1922 and passed in 2023 at the ripe age of 101 years young. This was her first coffee maker. Pretty neat story to hear from them.
