This lovely basket is hand created in Rwanda by artisans attempting to keep their traditions alive. It is made of grasses and other natural fibers. Because of the organic nature of the materials, the handmadestatus, and the traditional methods, it may show idiosyncrasies like uneven shading, spaces in weave, and slight asymmetry. These are signs of its origin and not considered flaws.In most cases, the basket pictured is the one you will receive. If more than one is available, it will be in the same colors and patterns, but there will be slight differences between the pieces due to their creation.
