A rare red cased Sony TR-63 transistor radio. Case is in beautiful condition; no cracks, chips or hairlines, with the exception of one very small (1/8") repaired/stabilized crack on the lower left corner of the case (see pic #12). Untested, however, assume that it's not working and consider it a bonus if it does. Dial and volume/on/off controls operate smooth and free. Sold AS-IS, NO WARRANTY.The TR-63 was introduced in 1957 - it was the first"pocket-sized" transistor radio ever made and the first Sony-brandedproduct exported to North America, by the then-named Tokyo Tsushin Kogyocompany (Tokyo Telecommuncations Engineering Corporation).
