Here is for sale an original, used Bally AS-2518-22 solenoid driver board.This board is found in several early solid state models made by Bally and is also compatible with games made by Stern during the same era (late 70's, early 80's).It was tested in a machine and the video can be seen in this item's image gallery (second position).
PLEASE NOTE: Any burned coils will need to be replaced before this board is installed in your machine. Also, if a coil is (or was ever) replaced, confirm that the wires are correctly positioned. There should be a diode on each coil. One end has a band, the other does not. Normally, one or two yellow wires tied together and a wire with a different color are attached to each of the coil terminals. Yellow wire(s) goes on the terminal with the banded side of the diode. If the wires are mixed in any of the coils, the corresponding transistor(s) on the driver board will short out and will need to be replaced otherwise the coil will be stuck on or not work.Bally models with a solenoid expander board under the playfield use a wire color different from yellow and two diodes in some coils.Winner for this sale will receive the solenoid driver board shown in the pictures. Nothing else seen in the video is included in this sale.
