On its own, this device sparked many a guessing contest.A solid wood structure, graduated and rising from a round plaque base.A brass rings at the tip top and a definite mid-centry modern vibe. At first blush it would seem tosome sort of Christmas Tree. Yet it spins aroundon ball bearings at the base. And yetit has curious brass bulletin studs sticking out on the underside of each section? Yet the patent number on the bottom gives the true answer...Pat. No. 178029 is...The Towered Susan Server!patented on June 12, 1956by William D. Warren of NYC (see diagram pic).


Very nice vintage condition. No chips, scuffs or dings. Some discoloration to felt on base. Does NOT include serving bowls. Buyer to provide their own four (4) bowls of their choosing whether glass, china, metal (as long as shape accommodates the device shape & peg... again, see diagram pic).
