I just wanted to test this new technology so I searched for the best priced capacitor bank I could find and I decided on this one. Once I had it I hooked it up to a power supply and charged it to the maximum voltage of 16.2 volts. I gave it a maximum charging current of 3 Amps and at that current it took quit a while for it to fully charge. To my surprise it has some balancing circuitry for each cap that included an LED (light emitting diode). At a certain voltage charge level the LED's would light and once fully charged the LED's stayed lit for about 20 hours or more. They very slowly used the charge reducing the capacitor voltage down to around 10 volts when the LED's stopped drawing current and were no longer lit. I measured the voltage on the cap bank for many days and the voltage would drop ever so slightly each day. I think this is excellent if you want to connect one of these to an audio amp in the car to boost the audio output during peak audio output.Read full review

shipping was 2 days quicker then recommended date , i use this in my home theater system my system involves a hifonics rig of 1 4 channel 2000w system and a 1000w mono amplifier for the bass. and a 1000w power supply from a gaming computer it only puts out 100 amps or so. but with computer power supplies they cant handle sudden surges. the whole system would shut down .If i was playing a video game and a grenade exploaded it would cause it to shut down. even when it was under little to no load. Adding this capacitor was a bit of a pain. since just putting it on the system wouldnt turn on due to load issues charging it for the first time. so what i did , i added a relay connected to a dump item like a 5 ohm heatsinked resistor to charge the capacitor until the voltage was high enough, when it would hit around 10 volts the relay would turn on allowing the power supply to work on it fully so that issue was solved . and now when a grenade or a gun exploads in my game or any Really sharp bass note or quick tone would happen the capacitor saves my computer power supply from shutting down it's working just like i wanted. Not to mention if i want to blast my music for 20 seconds or so it does a great job on keeping it balanced. it also got rid of grounding static noises. im happy about this to my old capacitor bank was not enough to do anything to it .Read full review

I've been using these CAP packs in series and they still balance although you do need to keep an eye on them, sometimes they dont balance perfectly. I'm using 4 of them in series (16.2V * 4 of them = 64.8V max) and I only charge to about 50V so no risk of over-charging. They are amazing but you need to respect them fro sure. My capacitor pack above ran a computer fan for 5 hours before running out of power.

I have just begun testing my caps. so far super ;,) have another three like this coming for further testing, if all goes well will be sure to post.

it is really good for weak batteries even diesel engine, where glow plugs draw and heavy diesel compression pushing battery voltage lower than 7 volt which is impossible the start engine however super capacitor manages give you extra +2 volts which tips cranking engine to start, perfect for car computers as well, because low battery, power cut leads data loses which definitely terrible for car immobilisers system sooner or lather immobiliser light up car become non-starter, so everything about consistency of energy on demand , to be or not to be!
