Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Sound Level Meters
This is a handy device for finding out how loud sounds are. I use it primarily for testing loudspeakers. Pros - easy to use, reasonably accurate, wide range of sound levels (50 db to 130db). Cons - frequency response is limited to A or C weighting, which limits its usefulness in some circumstances.

Mechanically, this device works well. The problem is that mine was way out of calibration and reads more than 10dB lower than the other sound meters I have. This is a common problem, as not a single meter I have is within 3dB of any of the others... but if mine has gone that far out of calibration since it was new, I would not trust any of these without calibrating them first. The good news is that it can be calibrated, and once it is, you should have a reliable tool for measuring sound levels.

This piece of equipment has proven to be useful for my purposes, though needing a wind sock for the mike and a data plug and a manual I like the DEAL very much. This is old school Radio Shack Quality GOOD STUFF
