This vintage 1960's Philco transistor radio is in pretty good physical condition but will need a little work to be fully restored. Would make an excellent candidate for restoration or parts. Exterior case and dial are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. Internals look great as well and have not been modified. This unit requires a unique battery that I did not have on hand and also has an odd split voltage wiring to power the speaker circuit. As such, I was not able to fully test in design condition. Unit was tested with a standard DC power supply with equal voltage across both power circuits. In this configuration, the unit powers on and will tune stations, but volume is very touchy, intermittent and not very loud. This could be a circuit/ cap issue, or just the way I was testing it, but for the purpose of the listing, call it partially working. The tuning knob is in great shape, but the volume knob is missing the keyway that firmly attaches it to the volume pot. This is a quick superglue fix if desired.
