This is a gorgeous antique English Ironstone covered Tureen or Casserole dish. It is from the 1850\'s which really is a testament to how well this antique Ironstone was made along with it\'s durability.
I love this pattern which is quite rare. It is Elsmore & Forster\'s Morning Glory pattern. This is a raised patterns as with all other English Ironstone. The lid is handled as are the sides of the dish itself, making it easy to work with and use.
This dish is quite large. Much larger that the vegetable dishes I normally see and have worked with in the past. Lots of space in this dish!
Great condition with overall discolorations as seen in the photos, some minor chipping to the inside lid and a stress crack in one handle from the factory when it was originally fired.Thank you for visiting my Shop today! Do stop back, I\'m adding new merchandise almost daily.
