You are offerding on one main frame or body for a Stanley Number 55 wood plane as pictured.

It is marked with the later style of the STANLEY sweetheart logo (top of heart flush with bottom of rectangle) on the skate, and with "No 55" on the frame.

Shown on the frame are the hardware to adjust the irons, the hardware to clamp the irons (the wingnut is not split out under the little clip as they often are), and the two screws to secure the rods. Also shown is the little oval spur with its little screw, but the top half of the spur is broken off as can be seen.

Condition of everything except the spur is good to very good, and better with a light cleaning. The skate has some pitting, with by far the worst at the end by the sweetheart logo. The rear handle is very good except that some of the finish coating has worn or peeled off.

Except as noted (the spur), there are no cracks or chips or chunks missing from any of the castings, and everything operates properly.

All that is included are the main frame and the small parts that are shown and described with it. No cutters, no rods.

ETHICS IN DESCRIPTIONS: I also buy for my collecting on , and I have been burned too many times by misleading (duh did I forget to mention .......) descriptions, and sales with pictures only of the left side because the right side was trashed. Life is much simpler for me if I disclose what I know or see about an item before you offer, and especially before you receive it in the mail. I come from the handshake school of doing business, and hopefully you are like me and understand what that means. What goes around, comes around.

SHIPPING IN THE US: I would rather that you spend your money on my stuff, and not on shipping. I package well, and have a great track record of getting everything to each buyer, and getting it there in one piece. I try to pick the best shipping option for each listing, based on what is the least expensive, and based on what I think is needed to protect the item. I use the US Post Office for everything. If the value is $250 or over, requires your signature at the USPS delivery for the buyer and seller protections to be in effect.
