This device is complete. It is powered from your PC USB port and can program the Arduino devices. You will need to download a driver for the USBTiny, and you can easily find it with a search on the internet. If your project isn't heavily loaded with extras, it is possible to program it with the power from the USBTiny. Otherwise you will need to power the project externally. There is a jumper on the board for that purpose. It has been my experience that a long programming cable can make programming unreliable. A cable length of about 6" or 150mm will tend to be ideal. You will need to be very careful about the correct orientation of the cable. Make sure you have cable Pin-1 to board Pin-1 (at both ends). If you plug in the cable backwards to a powered Arduino, you risk damaging something. Power down the Arduino when hooking things up.Read full review

Works really well, and small enough to be built into cases, or as in my case - my Turnigy 9X rc transmitter - for easy flashing of firmwares, arduino bootloaders and what not. Couldn't be happier, and especially for that price! I picked up a handfull just in case they get lost.

Works nicely, took some time to figure out how to use it in Arduino. I use one in my FlySky 9x remote controller for software flashing and changing settings.

Product was as advertised and worked great once I found a Windows Driver. Only complaint is that it took a long time to arrive and documentation for a driver. Took me some time on Google to find one to work.
