Sorensen Q Nobatron QR40-2A Power supply Case. CASE ONLY. Steel, This is probably the only equipment housing I\'ve seen that was perforated on 5 sides. Its in good shape, the rust as shown on the bottom seam is surface rust. Great for housing electronics, new or vintage, that you don\'t want to cool with a fan or that you want to mount a large external fan top or bottom.Outside dim\'s: 17\" x 11-5/8\" x 4-7/8\"Inside: 16-7/8\" x 11-1/4\" x 4-15/16\"The square holes are 15/64\" square. The two rear holes are: 1\" x 1\" (its left hand edge is 5.75\" from the left corner edge.) and 3-1/2\" x 1-5/8\" (that holes right hand edge is 1-3/8\" to the right corner edge).There are also 4 round mounting holes on the rear panel. 4 nuts are welded to the bottom for mounting feet (I don\'t have the originals.)Front panel is aluminum. The inside secondary panel bolts to the case, the front is, as expected, the full 19\" rack mount width.
This could be great for a vintage vacuum tube amp where you can see the glowing filaments. The end-to-end open perforations provide maximum heat venting. You can cut the bottom off and use as a top cover.
