Description:

Iran Amlash Style Horned Ram Terracotta Sculpture. A beautiful Amlash terracotta rhyton in the form of a horned ram the body hollow and stylized with four peg legs and a short tail. The horns are nicely formed and detailed with incising, the ears, horns, and the eyes and mouth are quite well executed. Very heavy for its size. Has a small hole on the underside and has some flaking and repair work as shown.
