A unique piece of railroad history. Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Step Stool made by Morton Manufacturing Co., Chicago. Solid and sturdy, weighs approximately 13.5 pounds, measures 18\" x 13\" at the base, the step measures 14\" x 9.25\", height is uneven, one corner measures approximately 11.5\" and the opposite corner measures 13\" high.  the right side seems to be slightly crushed/buckled. See last 3 photos.


Sturdy, repainted (attempted restoration) at some point, some rust on the underside. Rubber foot pads attached, but show signs of age. 


Vintage or antique, the A.C.L. company formed in 1900, the A.C.L. brand was in use from 1871 to 1967.
