Hi, I am in the UK, and I have just brought a Blackberry Bold 9700, and was planning on using my sim card that I already have, it is a pay monthly Sim on Vodafone, however, I got told today that I have to have a special sim card for Blackberrys and I cannot just use a normal sim. Is this correct?

In December, my contract with Vodafone comes to an end, and I was planning on buying a simplicity, sim only from O2, and they have three different options, you can either buy a normal sim or a sim for an iphone or blackberry. I don't understand why this is? What is the difference?
