BlackBerry devices now support push email for Hotmail accounts at no additional charge.
To add a Hotmail account to your BlackBerry, follow the instructions as they appear under the “Email Setup” section of Setup Wizard.

Note: Prior to the update to BIS 2.5, users with Hotmail accounts created after the year 2000 were generally unable to receive push email without paying a fee. Those with “grandfathered” accounts that pre-dated 2000 were able to receive push content at no charge.
